True, I don't cure my jigs. However after tieing off the jig I coat it with hard as nails to protect the eyes. I have never had a jig chip from shipping, fishing or storing them and some are three-four years old. During a season of fishing the wife and I will go through 2-3 hundred jigs, so most of the jigs are new each year. We fish a lot of rocky areas for smallies and still the jigs don't chip. Works for me!!
