This built up the belly of the jig and I just used a drop of flex glue after I added in each tail material. After the tail was done, I added 1 piece of doubled up ultra chenille to the belly to make it just a bit bigger, then wrapped the whole mess in chenille. I may have broken a record for "most different materials in a jig" with this one..... gotta see it to believe it.

I spend way too much time thinking about this! lol Maybe a touch of OCD!! :D I had some time while my machine was running at work, so tried to put the shape I wanted into a CAD program, but did it simple without rounding all the corners or to scale. The led behind the head would be flat sided so you could wrap chenille to the right shape.... Now I just need a mold craftsman.....

LH - THATS THE HEAD!!!! Man you stole my head design fast. lol :p Very nice. Did you pour those from a custom mold or get them from somewhere else, if so where and what are they called? What range of wt. sizes do they run? Those look awsome! The only thing I have seen close to them is on spinnerbait heads, but they still don't have the flat body like those...... Did I say those are cool? Oh yeah, 4 colors!!!

JJJ thnx -finished the paint last night – gotta get some time for the tying….

Too funny SM – just trying to stay outside and on top of the box…. Took a little while to figure out which way to go.

    AF - thnx
Using the Do-it Minnow Head JME-8-1632A, 1/16th, #4 red hook (from Hawnjigs), and a vise (with a cheater bar).

These were done with out the the body only being flattened. With the swap jigs the heads are slightly flattened.

Ifish - Got your jigs in the mail. Very interesting design!

LH - I like the idea, I think someone else also mentioned flattening the body barb, can't remember who. Will have to give it a shot. You nailed the paint job!
