Thanks Mike, I really appreciate the extra jigs and goodies people send.
It is a little work running a swap and I was concerned whether I could post the pics OK. However the pics so far are up and I've had a blast talking to folks in the swap! Answered some questions, learned some new stuff and for my first hosting of a swap I'm very, very pleased with the response and would gladly do it again. This is a really great forum on a super website for everyone, new and old alike!!! Can't wait to start building the custom rod for one of you!

Hope you all enjoy the jigs as much as I did tying them up. I got the first 20 done waiting on another order of jig heads to arrive in case they got held up but they got here so decided to tie up another 20. My first swap was #10! I was a little leery as I had'nt been tieing that long yet,
However Flatfish (coach!) encouraged me to give it a go and so I did.
I managed to get thru it although not very confidentally. With that experience behind me I've become a jig maniac!!! Since have tied over 400 jigs and the count keeps going. Every jig I tie I think of another pattern I should try! Then this fall I took a trip to Northern Wisconsin to test 17 specific jigs I had tied and man, did we catch fish!!!!!!! Never used live bait at all, just jigs! Now I really have the illness!!! No medication can cure it, just more jigs:o

Incidentally the custom rod can be your choice not just an ice rod.
Only exceptions will be a fly rod or musky rod, cause this is a panfishing
swap, but any kind of baitcast, spinning or push button rod is fine or if you want an ice rod we can do that as well.

Hey CR3 thats great your addicted to tying like the rest of us. Its a great hobby and business for some to. All this talk about the custom rod is driving me crazy. I cant wait to see who the lucky one will be perch

Two more great jigs for the tiers! Friends, with the jigs from this swap
you're gonna have no excuse for not catching fish!!
Now we've got an "orange spook" and a green worm" in our arsenal of
weapons:D

Wow sounds like there wont be a fish safe anywhere from now on. I cant wait Im like a kid at christmas time OPEN OPEN OPEN ok its time lets OPEN it up LOL perch

Gentlemen....
Since I build my own rods...I think it is just fitting and proper that I disqualify myself from the custom rod drawing...it just would not be right if I won it....and I would not feel right.
So..you all have at it !!..
