Fished 5 island in Emmetsburg from shore for a while yesterday. Water temp still to cold caught a couple of small walleye thats it will be hitting it hard in a few weeks.

Snyders Bend Report 5/7
We went out on Saturday evening. It would have been noon or so but one tire blew out on my trailer by the sioux city construction and the other developed a big leak. Think someone threw something out in the construction. So we got there late of course. We went all the way back in the reeds on the dock side and had some great fishing!
My buddy was leaving there when we pulled in and he said he caught 50+ largemouth,1 5lber and a bunch of crappie. He didnt keep any crappie or bass. In the short time before dark I caught a bass or crappie on just about every cast. Crazy. Didnt keep any due to the short timeframe.
It was a good end to a very long day.
