    Default Saturday fishing

Got out on the lake early, saw the sunrise! Had 25 by 10:30. I think it's time for another family fish-fry. Caught most of the fish on brush piles in the main lake, 22-25 ft. It got too windy, so finished up in some coves. Not very crowded on the lake these days.

Correction, 22, must have double-counted a few on my counter :-). Still have to eat some before I can catch any more. Darn possession limit

I guess I should read the whole thing. Under crappie, it had "possession limit is 50", but after your message, I went back and read it "slower". It has to do with Mississippi river and connected backwaters....NOT inland waters. (sigh) That should teach me to read things more thoroughly. The good part is I won't feel guilty about going back out today. No Bears game, so no reason to watch TV after church. (of course, the way the Bears have been playing, would be better off on the lake anyway).

Thanks Herb for waking me up!

You're most welcome. Haven't been able to fish for the crappie yet this year. Between work and the Miss. River being messed up since early March, catfish is all I've been able to get after. Seeing those photos that Cory B put up from Roberts Creek almost make me cry. Until Ice season starts, I'll live vicariously through your reports.
