    Default Crappie


    I've been doing a lot of fishing at Big Creek this year, since all the big lakes are "too" big. I've caught a lot of nice gills, a few lg bass, a bunch of white bass, and an occasional crappie. Well that has changed, in less than 2 hrs this afternoon, I limited out on crappie :-)

    I wish I was. I would be closer to a lake.
    No, I live right by the Mississippi river. While people may think that is a good thing...I havent caught a crappie in the river in a long long time.
    In fact, the river has been a mess ALL summer.

    Just got back from the lake. Caught another 20 crappies and 4 white bass. :-)
