    The new Motorized Lake Launch Permit is needed since Jan 1st. Got mine in the mail thru DNR's "Mother's Nature Mercantile online if you're not near a open DNR office somewhere. Cost to mail it to you is 4 Bucks plus the 25 for motorized permit. Color this year is Yellow. DNR: State Parks: Lake Permits, Boating Fees & Rentals

    Thanks for the reminder. I'm not where I'll need it for a while and then have a body part that needs to go under the knife for a fairly minor (I hope) repair that might take a few weeks to heal before I can pull the boat out of the garage. I might go ahead and get it ordered so it will be waiting on me when I get home.
