    Default Round 1 coming up!

We already have 85 in county without power due to wind and front is a hour or so away yet. They are predicting East fork of the White River to come up at Bedford 28.5, Williams, 19’ and Shoals 25.5’. predictions of anywhere from 5 inches to 10” thru Sunday. Patoka is 6.2’ above winter pool from last storm, Monroe is 3.5’ above summer pool, Cat island Coon still tad above winter pool but will shoot up due to none will be able to discharge due to flooded rivers including the Ohio,,Everybody stay safe.

Yep, I'm on the north edge of the system in Wabash county and it would appear the white bass and crappie run at Hogsback is all but ruined this year .And here silly me took the third week of April off work to fish. I doubt they will get it drawn down low enough before cutting off the spillway. Forecast says another 2" on Friday . Carry on.

It was rough here last night with sirens going off and roaring winds like we’ve never seen or felt. Spent a lot of time between the bed and our basement safe space….im tired….LOL

2.6” for the nite for me. River shot up over 5 ft and going higher as time progresses. I’m sure others got more rain south and east of me as well as high wind damage being reported. Over 400 around me without power in the pretty remote part of SW Indiana. I’m one of the lucky ones so far with power still on. One of our Res- x Monroe shot up a foot..6000 cfs inflow…that’s a ton for that’s 10,500 acre Res.

1.5 of rain at my place. We are sort of sheltered from the wind most days, but it was howling in the ridgeline above us.

It did split & blow a tree down in my mom's yard that I'll take care of when it dries out some. At 89 chain sawing is not her line of work.

Picked up 6/10 in round 2..most of the rain stay just south of me. patoka got 1.7. My 48 hr total is 3.2” so far. Radar is showing we get pounded this afternoon with front moving alittle north. Monroe now has 11000 cfs going into it. East Fork of White at Bedford is going to shoot up Wednesday to 33’ high. Severe flooding from Seymour to Shoals coming later on. At least we didn’t have any high winds. Our REMC is busting their butts, Yesterday over 350 without power….now zero. They have a rough job in some of this rough hill country.
