This is not a typical spring as too friggin hot and dry as hell till this rain we just got. Here 2” of rain and serious winds and turkeys breeding about 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule,,Mushrooms coming up alittle early sparse most places due to dry as heck. Needed the rain,,but now next couple days with snow squalls predicted..with to much wind. These pics are last 3 days of very early shrooms as woods is not ready yet…tooo early!!

Your spot on, seems like last few years been bone dry till April then inches of rain all at once with cold fronts and wind, finally followed by a rapid warm up. I saw a tom strutting the other day and thought it was a little early for that.
