The colder the water,,the slower you go. Maybe 0.4 mph with a lighter jig..and thin line. 4 lb with a 1/16th or heavier for deeper water. Experiment with speed. My best color is chartreuse or chartreuse/black,,,,purple with chartreuse tail..Road Runner heads/blades with the colored bodies in for lemon. I like hollow tubes,,and will inject crappie nibbles in them and even dunk them in Slab Sauce. Try everything for cold water. But for me,,it’s slow going in extreme cold water. If I’m bass fishing this water...my fav. Bait is 1/2 black jig with number 11 uncle josh pork frog on it especially on cloudy days,,sunny,,,extreme slow white spinner bait,,,I like a whitetail mess with a number 3 size treble hook on it. I have 6 bottles of Uncle Josh still and now uncle josh is back for 2021 making their bottles of pork again!!!!!
