Water temp at 7 am was 80.5 and clearing up to a blue green on Lemon. Decided to long line crankbaits and ended up catching about 50 till I quit at 10:30 am as jet skiers and pleasureboaters were finally coming out. Chrome baits were the hot bait in the PICO’s—mad clown and black backed. Before that, there were only maybe half dozen boats on entire lake. High pressure system, pure blue sky, no wind or ripple on water, pretty much had fish scattered and slow to hit as could only pick up one here, and one there. Kept 6 all 11 to 12 inches and released the rest and eating them for supper.

Went across causeway of Monroe Res. Have to say it looked awesome and only saw no more than 6 boats on entire lake. It’s up 14.7 above summer pool and they are only letting out about 250 cfs. Checked Cutright out and both ramps are closed due to high water. At the high water launch, you would have to back at least 60-70ft to launch and you would get wet. Have a good 4th.
