I use the Bandits and Arkies also as they have some really great colors that the PICOs doesn’t have yet. But, the PICOs will run a foot or 1.5 ft deeper, have a loud BB in them, and I am sold on the golf ball dimpled body. I think the dimpled body gives off more sound waves as it moves in the water and it holds slab sauce that I coated them with sometimes. Now that PICO has the square bill version also, if you push with a weight above it, the square Bill gives you a better depth control also. Just my observations as I was previously using some square Bill crankbaits that I had found in some of my 20-30 yr old bass crankbait boxes. One thing about long lining jigs and crankbaits. It’s a great tool in finding crappie and if you are seeing them on your electronics, it’s possible to mark the spot with a waypoint, go back and jig fish them sometimes or just circle or figure 8 your boat back then rhem over and over hammering away.
