Read a couple post about fishing for shell crackers so I got motivated to try to catch some today in the cold and wind. Went to a farm pond and fished a 1/64 and 1/32 oz crappie magnet on the bottom but kept snagging submerged sticks and loosing the jigs. I used to catch redear in this pond but haven’t for quite some time now. So we switched to a cork and chartreuse/black feather jig and my boy caught a few nice bluegill. Windy and cold.
