I use ipilot to guide with as I do all the driving to where I want to go and record my tracks and then replay them if I want to work a specific area. Others might follow contours but I prefer to go over the points and humps working the different levels of depths till the fish strike the cranks to determine the active fish. I do use advanced autopilot and cruise control also. Just never got into the contour mode.
