Someone said they are not as strict as they used to be about your motor size as long as you maintain a idle is this true or do you have any idea.. I live 60 miles from Eagle Creek now but would like to fish it again but don't have a kicker motor on my boat and don't relish the idea of using trolling motor only, my motor cant pass for a 10hp either as its a 50hp.

Usually I catch most of my fish trolling Flicker Shads and worm rigs across the flats close to Hobie Beach. And I've caught a few bass casting to the shore. I'll get my share of fish from now to November. But most of the time I don't care if I catch anything or not, it's just good to be out in the fresh air.

And today it's snowing! I will be trying Blue Grass near Evansville on Thursday or Friday and taking #3(by seniority) Grandson out again.
