Well...just wait and weather will change as weatherman is saying now 30% chance of snow mix early Monday morning with temp of 30. Then tues high of 60. This isn’t a stable situation to help the fishing out much. Crazy spring. Most of the time in this brutal wind, your better off when long lining or spider rigging, to drift with the wind. The wind does create a minuscule current and you will catch more fish facing into the wind as the reason we drift with it. I have caught fish fighting and heading into the wind, but drifting or going with it is more productive to me. If water temps get any warmer, I will break the cranks out and try them as I loaded the rods, okuma reels and cranks into the boat today along with all my jiggin rigs and baits.
