bad back kept me off the water this year, went a few times back in the spring, could not do much of anything all summer. on oct. 12th had a double spine fusion, plus they opened my spinal core , it was closing in on some nerves. so maybe things will be a lot better in a few months.

so far everything is doing pretty good, I had a goal of being able to do alittle deer hunting opening day of gun, it was killing me not to be able to bow hunt those last couple of weeks of bow season. so opening day of gun I went, no treestand climbing, no climbing hills, just flat ground, so I used a cane and just took baby steps to my spot, took an 8 ptr. at 9:30 a.m.

Glad to hear you are on the mend. My brother just had spinal fusion surgery 6 weeks ago and it is "baby steps" for him too. Hopefully you will be good to go for spring fishing next year.
