Thread: Spider Rigs Storage

I have been racking my brain for a several weeks now trying to come up with a good way to store all the different spider rigs I use. I have seen pool noodles, molded plastic pieces, Lindy riggers, snell holders, and a few others used. They all kind of work, but none of them are real convenient to store AND easy to use. The pool noodle is probably the best I have seen, but again the storage and ease of transport deal if you don't have a boat to leave it in. So any of you guys have any tips, ideas, suggestions, or pics you wouldn't mind sharing? Thanks!

I have three boxes of these. Best rig holder I have found and I have tried them all.

I saw those, but I just wasn't sure how they would work since they are non adjustable. In my mind you would never be able to keep the lines taught on them, so as to where the hooks would not fall off. Care to educate me on how you use them? Thanks!

Real simple, even I can do it you pick a spot on one side and hook one hook, then wrap the rig from that hook. You will find that you can stretch the line just a little to hook in one of the positions left in the center. Your line won't kink or chafe. Real easy to store in box and the box in your boat. Any more questions just ask.

I got one of these at Bass Pro the other day to try, and decided I liked them enough I went back and bought three more today. I will probably end up buying a couple more when they get some more in stock. These are different than the Lind Riggers, as they are bigger and they are soft rubber instead of foam. With the larger diameter they are easier to handle and you do not have to wrap the line as many times. Plus with the rubber, you can pull them more taught and it will not rip like the foam does. So far I am very happy with them. I bought a Plano box today that I can easily fit three in, but I am going to try and fit a 4th, but may have to take the end caps off to make that one fit. In my research I have found that they make three different sizes of these. The size I got is the largest and is 8.5"L x 2.25" diameter. Below are a couple pics.

I also have the same problem. Have been just wrapping them back on the caps rig plastic they came on. But i think I might try a swim noodle out. I have a boat tho. They are a big pain to deal with. Might put them in a small tote, as they will blow away easy I'm sure.
