Looking to expand my fishing range. Normally fish eagle creek but going to try cataract this weekend. Anyone willing to give me a little guidance in the lake. Not looking for anyone to give up there spots but maybe point me in right direction and maybe what depth and technique and or jigs that work well on the lake and what depth there holding. Just anything you might think that would be helpful. Thanks

it varies some days u get some good ones if you find them but better than Patoka on average look shallow a little but don t waste your time their if bite is slow
Yeah and a little cold front coming in too. I'm fishing out of a 14 Jon boat with a 6hp motor so going long distances is not real too much fun. Anyone have any suggestions on which ramp I should use
Bait at store off of 42 at Cunot ramp. Nice store usually open early in morn. Put boat in at Cunot Ramp go down left hand bank, will be heading down lake, stay in 12-15 ft water. Cast to them using jigs tipped with minnows or nibblets, Orange/chart 1/16oz jigs. Green/chartrues jigs. Cast let go to bottom and work along bottom. Find the points and you will find the fish. Really no need to go through the narrows but if you do fish points and underwater islands/humps. They are all over the lake. Or troll crankbaits that will work also.
