Where would you go...bluegill/crappie
Trying to decide where to go tomorrow with my dad and nephews. I mostly fish for bass, and crappie at missy and sally.
I'm thinking of winona, beaver dam, or barbee chain. Really just want to catch some decent bluegill. I know areas at barbee to catch bluegill and redear, but it is a longer drive than the other two. Beaver dam I haven't been on much this year, sure they've killed off the weeds by now like every summer. Know they have at winona. Bonus of winona is it has perch, bluegill, crappie, and white bass so I'm sure I can get the kids on biting fish.
Any opinions?

Tri Lakes north of Columbia City holds some good fish. You can put in at Round and have your choice of 3 different lakes. Goose Lake is a good spot as well, not many houses on Goose, so it feels a little more natural like a resevoir.

Was fishing shallower than I would have alone, just trying to get the kids on quick biting fish. Kids missed some fish, dad caught a few, and I mostly tried to help the kids. They had sprayed the weeds, and they were dying off and seemed like most of the fish were suspended and not wanting to bite.
All in all though, I think the trip went well.
