Got on the water early am. Water temp 65-66 degrees and a little stained. Started shallow thinking the spawn would be in progress, no luck. Moved to 10-12 ft of water and caught a couple of small ones. About 45 minutes before time to leave (11:00) I tried a brush pile in 20 ft of water. Caught 10 crappies that were 10-13 in, one 2 lb white bass, and lost a really big catfish that straightened out my hook. Vertical jigging 1/16 oz jigs in black/chartreuse worked the best. All females appeared to have eggs and the males were still black.
