Any Hardy Lake Tips for Beginner
Hey Everyone, I'm pretty new to Crappie fishing, at least when it comes to Indiana fishing. Last year my dad and I went to Hardy Lake in early may and are going again this year, I read it was pretty good for Crappie. We camp at the primitive site and I have a deep V boat. My question is where is the best place to target the Crappie on this lake. There are a ton of trees coming up out of the water in the no wake zone, but the depth is over 15 ft around most of them. I've been reading that during spawning Crappie are in shallow water. Is it better to hit the underwater structure, or go in the bays and try shallower waters? Last year, we didn't catch a single Crappie and I'd like to do better. If no luck this year, I may try Lake Monroe. Any suggestions!
Thanks!
PJ
