    It usually ony takes 3 days of zero weather to have 3",,,I think we have had that. Heard Nyona had 6"

    That is not true at all. There are more variables that go into making ice than the temp. Water temp, snowfall, and wind play parts. Nyona is south of me. There are big lakes up my way that still have open water because the wind has been howling.

    BTW, I got a report from one of my friends yesterday. He has 3-3 1/2" on his ponds in the Bloomington area.
