I have been extra busy this summer. I have still had some good time to go fishing, but hard to find time to post about it. I think the fall bite is starting to turn on. The last couple of trips i've been bluegill fishing, but they are starting to feed pretty heavy now. Here soon I would like to get back on some crappie. I have a couple of go to fall spots I'm looking forward to checking out.

Yep, I think the bite is starting to turn on. Caught fish up to 14". Friday was the best big fish bite of the year, we had a blast. Yes all fish were released

I've been dealing with health issues of my own and my father n mother too so I haven't been out much this year...but it's been hot n cold as far as catchin' any quality fish for me.
Roaming the banks of the Kankakee River and anywhere else fish might lurk.
