This season looks like a bust...
Spring found me nursing another blood clot in my ankle, then the rain and grass got out of hand (still trying to catch up on that one); Father's day, my wife got rear-ended so another can of worms....now we need to get the house stained before summers end and she wants a deck on the back of the house...at this rate, I'll be happy to say I'm not going to let anything disrupt my fishing next year, but as for this year it's shaping up to be a total bust
Hope everyone else is having a better time of it.
Roaming the banks of the Kankakee River and anywhere else fish might lurk.

Sorry to hear of the bad health and bad luck. Hope things get turned around for you quickly. I too can share in your frustrations. I only got out a few times this Spring myself, and the second to last time out I hit a deer on the way home from the lake to the tune of over $5000 worth of damage. I just had my third surgery this week for the third Spring in a row, that will keep me off the water for the rest of the year. Here's to next year!!!

Myself it has been a struggle to get this far in this year money wise. Come August finance will change. I will go fishing before the weather gets to cold and may even go then since I have missed so much of the past year.
