I went over saturday afternoon, surprisingly the water color was very good, at least up near the dam it was. Was told it was muddy near red bridge but i never made it that far to check for myself. Bite was not near as good as it had been for me. Caught maybe 10 or so between 3 of us, seen some other people catch some as well, but it was not every cast like it had been. Water coming back down and warm temps again will probably pick the bite back up.

Sorry, that is Goose creek not listen.

Fished in the Indiana slab masters tourney Saturday. Caught about 200+ fish 9" and bigger. Friday I caught a few black crappie that went 1.4lbs to 1.5
Wish they would have been there Saturday.

and these, bigger ones, were in the same spot you caught the small ones, the days before? same tacts too?

200+fish sounds like that res. is poised to have a bunch of hogs in it in a couple years! thats if it doesnt get raped out.

I agree, but that's a big " IF "; seen a lot of dink limits taken this year.

The last 30 minutes of the tourney the wind really laid down to where I could control my boat speed a little better. That's when I started getting the bigger fish. I culled out 5 fish the last 30 minutes. There is a lot of good and plentiful eater size fish right now. Next couple of years should be a good cycle.
