3 still had eggs (yellow) more had flesh color eggs? But for most part I thinks it's over. Didn't find any in shallow water. Cast to bank an wouldn't get bite till top of trees most were in 10/12 feet if water. Went in to Saddle creek this morn. When I got to 7/8 feet didn't see a thing on D/F. Anybody know why flesh color eggs now?

I was there Friday evening and again Monday. First fish Monday morning was a nice 13" female full of eggs. With surface temps at 70 degrees to start, my opinion is that it's all but over. There will still be females out there with eggs, but the biggest wave has already passed, IMO. With the lake still being 6' high, finding quality fish can be a real chore.

To be honest, I spent nearly all of my time looking for new spots on Friday evening. I did stop and vertical jig a couple spots that were loaded with fish, but dink was the name. Monday I started out spider rigging (alone), 4-14' of water, using double minnow rigs. I would not have starved, but I only had a handful over 9". Once the lake gets out of the trees and bushes, the fish will be much more vulnerable.
