Brookville Lake
Hey guys! So I'm new to fishing within the last 12 months, and one would think I started yesterday. I have spent countless hours watching youtube videos, reading blogs, talking to ol' timers at the lake, and actual rod time on the lake, but have very few fish to show. I could use the same bait, be in the same location, and hold my mouth the same way as the guy in the next boat over, but only catch 1/10th of the crappie he does. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Last weekend I was out all morning and caught 1 crappie between jigging and minnows, while my buddy on another boat caught >30 crappie.
One issue I know I have is I haven't totally mastered my fish finder. I purchased a new one last year with down imaging. My problem is when I see a nice spot with fish on the finder, I can't seem to actually locate and stay over it.
ANY advise would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Ben
