Haven't look at the water but as of 8am the lake is 1' over summer pool and the river is up to 8' from about 2 1/2' yesterday. Usually that means the lake will be muddy and full of debris, but that's just based on past experience.

We were hopingto head up on Friday and see what we could find but with all this rain waswondering if anyone could give us some insight on what it looks like now. Withas cold as this rain is and the amount I don't want to waste a day on badfishing if I can get one in later with some good weather. Any info from someonewho's close would be much appreciated. We are about 1 1/2 hours away.

It really depends on if they pull water at the dam. If they DONT the mud line will stay east of red bridge just before listen creek where the lake turns and goes to the south. Im sure the main body is a heavy stain with the amount of rain we have had, but it all depends of the boys at the dam.
It's going to be muddy, always is when we get any kind of a rain at all. I don't think they are pulling as much water now as they were this morning, but probably won't matter much anyway. Lake was 1.8 feet over pool this morning and it's likely higher then that now. High temps in the low 40's and lows in the 30's don't help the situation either. Bad timing as the fishing had been very good before the weather turned.
I would consider a natural lake they are not as affected by the rain

Was up there yesterday friday muddy to red bridge but the rest of the lake was fine. Going back up here shortly. Thought maybe the crappies moved out because of weather but they are still holding back in the cove I fished. Muddy or not I still catch them thar crappies.
Looks like the lake was 6' over summer pool yesterday, it's dropping now at 5' over. Did anyone have any luck on Missy with the high water this weekend ?
