took my son fishing, first one on the lake. the loading docks were not out yet so that made it a bigger hassle loading and unloading, don't know when they put them out but I assumed they would be, both gates were broken, trash cans over flowing and of course still no bait shop! Other than those complaints, the fish were biting water temp 56 to 58 degrees We caught them shallow mostly Id say 4 to 9ftw most of the bigger fish were holding tight to cover. One of those couple off this tree couple off that tree kind of day. I did catch several just trolling also. 2" jigs tipped with minnows. Overall I was happy that my son and I brought home 45 and fried them up that night. fished till 4pm most being in the 9" range average no big ums Probably threw back 20 or so, no color really did better to my memory my son thought the two dozen rosie reds I bought from westside worked better for him but I did fine on both.
