My annual fishing party will be Saturday, September 1st at my place. Check-in will close at 8 am. Once again this year I will be opening up Stafford Lake to all that want to fish it, but anglers can fish any lake they choose to in Kosciusko County. My place is a stone's throw from the Warsaw lakes and the Barbee Chain. Camping is available. If you are interested in attending and have any questions feel free to post them here or send me a pm.

Never fished Dewart that much, but used to hit Waubee alot 20+ years ago. One aspect of both lakes that goes unnoticed by most is that they both have walleye in them...not great numbers but they are there.Originally Posted by gijimbo

Dewart has a ton of crappies in it...had good luck working the flats with tiny tube jigs

Most of the guys that I know that hit Dewart are there for LM's and Northerns. Never really hear about crappie. But then again guys go to Barbee for muskie and an 18" crappie came out of there this past ice season.

Rico when you have your bash ....Lets say the first of May I could attend. Maybe we could have a fish and...............mushrooms fry. Hell we could even go and get some fish and shrooms. Sounds alot better than fish and chips.
