    LED's seem to work for several years now on my trailer, and please run a hard ground to every single light connection and save yourself ground troubles in the future!!! Several years ago I put LED's on my trailer and ran an extra wire for ground. I went a bit overboard and soldered every connection, but crimping a butt splice connector will do, I also used marine shrink wrap on every connection. I don't plan on having to work on my wiring for a long time!
