Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting Banjomarsh at Evergreen. We had some great conversations, but not so great catching. I know guys...cold fronts happen Memorable day at Evergreen. Crappie were very scattered and on a diet. At the end of the day we verbally took note of what others caught. Not good. We had the lead with only 5 crappie, 1 saugeye, and 1 bluegill. Then the day got even worse. With the boat trailered, and ready to hit the road the battery died in my Jeep. After a trip into Bloomington and a $217 purchase I was finally on my way home. Jeesh!!!

All in all, I can't really complain. Bad fishing days happen. Even to Brian Cleland Memorable day at Evergreen. Batteries will always die at an inconvenient time. But, I caught a fish, got some fresh air, and made a new friend. I guess it was really a good day.
