I agree with newbe. I have been having my best luck fishing jig under a bobber anywhere from 1 to 4 deep. I have been using a quarter oz. jig in orange or black with a tube color of black and chartreuse or a chartreuse with white flakes. Lighter color on sunny days and darker on cloudy days.
