I'm aware of the laws. I try to be respectful of the owners property, never leave hooks or line and don't let the boat grind against their docks. I pay the same fee he does to use the lake and since he has a fishing boat in one of his lifts I'm pretty sure he doesn't just fish on his dock. There have been owners in the past that have tried roping off areas between them selves and the next dock to keep others out. Lake Patrol made them remove and they were warned it was public water and anyone could fish it.
