So if I buy the $40 permit can it be used at Shelbyville, Carlyle, and Rend?

Be sure to tell them it is not an annual fee since they close many of the Rend Lake boat launches November-March. More like a 7-8 month pass. Instead of 12.

Don't mind paying the fee $20 for seniors. But it isn't their ramps, taxpayers paid for them.
That is true but its a small price to pay, pass is good all over the country.
By the way, their is no Senior Pass through the COE anymore. A pass provided by the National Parks for seniors and disabled people is all you need now, the younger folks will be the only ones having to buy annual passes.

The Golden Pass provided by the National Park Service to Seniors has to be shown each year for 1/2 price reduction of ramp & camping fee's.
