Default LOU YEAGER IS ON FIRE

Fished from 7:30 till 12:30 today with dad and probly caught around 100. We kept 20 that were 10" or better. Nothing over 11.5".Fished jigs and jig and cork w anything chartreuse or orange and chartreuse. Water temp was 57 and visibility was about a foot. Depth was as shallow as a foot down to 10 ft. If you find wood you will find the crappie. Also shad were loaded in backs of coves. Every fish I cleaned had a shad or two in it and they are about 3". Also the duck hunters were doing some banging on the lake.

Went back out today and asked a guy when we were launching how he did and he said it was very slow, I thought guy must not have a clue. We went to my first spot and immediately started catching fish. Moved to my second spot, nothing. Hit a couple of other of my no fail spots and caught very few. Wow what a difference 24 hours make. Fished from 1 to 4 and ended up w 15 decent fish probly caught 25/30 total. I was fishing jig (chartreuse) and Buddy was fishing minnows. Jig definitely out produced minnows. Caught fish both shallow and deeper (8/10ft). Not sure what difference was today but I do know all the fish had empty bellies today as they were plum full yesterday.
