Thread: humid crappies

Had to hit some 'little water' for crappie hunting. I was in withdrawal. Got a few here and there. Before I got to them I immediately hooked and got pulled around by a 7+ lb. channel cat. As the day progressed also managed to have some drag pulling with a pair of 6+ pound LM bass. The biguns were caught (on my 10 ft rod, micro reel, 6#test line), admired, and released. It was hot and humid but lots of fun.
