I got an idea. Does anyone want to go on a stake out, I'll get a case of beer and we can wait on them to show up. If they don't show up, then we will still have a case of beer.![]()

We have been having trouble with vandalism in my neighborhood ..... I got the door on my new truck scratched up .....I have set a few "traps" for them ..... I hate vandals worse than thieves.
I think we should flog them in public like they do in Singapore .... They have VERY little problem with crime there.

I like your idea Pat. I think you guys should catch them tie there hands behind the back and get treble hooks pierce there ears and belly button and use them for Bandits they will dive real deep, then celebrate with the case of beer for all the fish caught. Oops put the snap swivel in the nose.

BobB - I don't think flogging them in public would do any good. Years ago in London they would hang pick pockets in public and they always drew a large crowd. As a result pick pockets would work the crowd during the hanging.
Ken
It sure works in Singapore Ken ..... There are still cultures in the world that don't have this kind of crap ..... Those cultures don't coddle the people who are committing crimes.
I had a house in southern Japan when I was in the Navy and that house along with all the other houses in town didn't even have locks on the doors ..... We would leave town for several weeks at a time with a lot of expensive stereo equipment in the house and a lot of booze that would have been worth a lot of money locally .... The word for theft was not even part of the vocabulary for that area.
The reason for it was they were still strongly traditional ...... For a thousand years, the shogun ruled and if a person was caught stealing they lopped of their hand on the spot ..... If a person with one had was caught stealing, they cut off his head on the spot. After generations of this, the propensity to steal disappeared from the gene pool.
I have also been to Singapore and observed the no nonsense approach they take. I recall an incident when president Clinton was in office that an american was flogged publicly and he treated it like an international incident, severely scolding the Singapore authorities. With all the other things going on in the world, the leader of the US thought that was worth his time.
We are just WAY to easy on the criminals in this country and cycling them in and out of prison is great job security for lawyers and judges...... just keep turning them back loose on us so they can commit more crimes and then cycle them thru the system again ...... As you can tell, this is a BiG pet peeve of mine ....
Sorry for turning it to politics, but the problem is the politicians, judges, and lawyers. The police have to keep apprehending these people over and over again..... The thoughts of taking a vigilante approach are getting stronger and stronger and will be inevitable if this crap is not put to a halt.
Ok .... done with my rant for this week.

Looking for the one that makes it all worthwhile.
Exactly what BobB said, it is going to have to stop sometime, you can't shoot them all, flogging would be a start.

Oh, I beg to differ. Yes you can shot them all. Bullets are much cheaper than court hearings and prison time.

Quick, someone teach me how to fish so I can win this tournament!!!
I agree with all here but I'm gonna lock this one. We could come up with all sorts of good torture for these scum bags but the thread would go on till December. Lol. Closing this one down fellas. Let's talk crappie.
