Take a few spare tires....locals love to seed the ramp and parkin area with roofing nails.

Its use to be a good place to catch some crappie....but there was a cpl boats from MO (Im originally from south of Cape )basically raped it for a cpl years. The locals got tired of it and right or wrong theyve made it hard and expensive to fish the chute.

Yeah I've heard of problems over there before. I've fished before but it's been a few years. Wasn't sure if it got any better

Dad last trips there have been unproductive but he only fished the end at the boat ramp. I stopped by there the other day and the ramp looked rough but usable. I wish they would hold more water in there since they fixed the spillway.

Avoid the nails and go up to Evansville and put in. Less pressure
