    Default line question ???

What is the best line to use with a slip bobber. I thought that I heard of one line that had a slick coating on it but cant remember what it was. Thanks in advance for any info.

Here is what I use with braid. A little trick I learned along the way! I have these in every size you can imagine almost. I buy regular peg floats and push a warm drill thru them to get the hole even all the way. I then put two brass inserts from hardware store and silicone them in both ends. You can use epoxy also! Give these a try. I won't use anything else with braid. I like the 2 1/2 with 1/4 oz jig. Most sensitive bobber I ever used. If a fish farts on it the thing will flip on its side!! Best of luck!

    How ingenious!
X2 on braid. Do not grab it and pull if you get hung up, like with mono. It will slice you. Wrap line around a stick. Very sensitive line also.

Power pro sells a "super slick" version of their braid, I've never used it so I'm not much help on if it any good or not. Braid is a must for me with a slip bobber, I'm usually tossing those minners in places they don't want to come out of easy.

I use Power Pro braid.04 diameter, on the slip floats. Stop are Basspro rubber, above and below, red and white bead below the bobber. With the use of the braid, stopped all the retying of lines which get broken off, oor lost jig.

I have had no issue with abrasion on anything.
