    Tried to go out on the ice at Shelbyville Wilbourn area today main gates closed making the walk with gear and sled a long distance I checked and even fished on Sunday ice was 5.5 to 7 inches thick is gate closing a normal thing this time of year or does corp not want people on the ice due to liability maybe some one knows the answer I went back of bo dragging sled and gear not bad going down but going up a real pain 6 to 7.5 inches thick at Bo. Thanks

    They just put the gates in this year at the corp campgrounds. You might try Eagle or Wolf campgrounds or the hunter/fishermen parking areas around the lake for easier access to the lake.

    there has always been gates, so now they have gates to block the ramp access

    Yea Steve, thats what I was talking about. I watched them put them in at Wilburn and then I seen them at Lithia too.
