We tried it yesterday. Lots of little. Could probably have walked on water along the 154 causeway on the backs of the shad. Blacked out the screen on the sonar most of the day and was bumping them constantly with the jigs. Snagged a few and many were still small enough for the bigger crappie to swallow.

Bob, it was good to see you the other day. I was with Cap'n Mickey. There are a lot of little Crappie in Rend this year. It may be there is just so darn much to eat the good ones are harder to catch. They are living in a smorgasbord.

Kinkaid doesnt need a creel limit that's what the recreational boaters are there for. Even when they aren't there I still struggle maybe 1 day I will figure it out. Hope its sooner than later.

Kinkaid has a lot of good fish and an occasional 3 pounder. Kinkaid is my favorite southern IL lake.

That Dog can still hunt. Great looking Lab. I wish I still had mine. Good job on the fish Scotty. Looks like Rend is where it's at these days. Where is little boy blue?
