Often I use a small barrel swivel followed by a 3' Fluorocarbon leader saves a lot of line and with blades and spoons in almost a necessity as they will can get wrapped up in that fine line.
***Keep a 6" length of dowel,broom stick or a smooth stick for wrapping line around for retrieving etc, VERY IMPORTANT as pulling on these fine lines with bare hands will result in deep cuts to hand. good point BuckeyeKdog
