Only had problems with the trailer. Not wanting to be a downer. Just some helpful advice from one Ranger man to another. Enjoy it.
That seems to be the consistent thing I hear about these trailers is the hubs leaking etc. Im not sure what you're talking about though on the tie down engineering components? Fill me in if you could!

Judging by the hubs in ur pic, they are tie down engineering brand. (tde for short). All of the components on the trailer are tde. Those years also have a problem with welds breaking on the gussets of the trailer. It's happened to mine and other I know personally. Carry an extra hub kit. They r easy to change. Use 50 wt racing oil to fill. Trust me, they won't just leak they will fail. New hub and spindle from Ranger is about 90$ shipped. It's just the non Ranger stuff on the trade u need to worry about. The boat will treat u well and I hope u enjoy it. I not trying to kill ur joy. I just want to save u the troubles I and other guys have had with those trailer. Nothing u can do but roll with it and know what to expect. I've changed all the tde stuff on my boat at least twice. Let me know if have any questions

Is there a way to change the oil in the hubs? Or should I just change out the hubs.

Yep, just pop the rubber cap off, and fill with 50wt motor oil. I use valvoline racing oil
