    Default Shelbyville fall trip, opinions!

Planning a trip to the ville for either September or October. For those of you who are locals which month would be better in your opinion and why? Thanks!

Also, one boat in our group loves to pull cranks so I guess take that into consideration

we are talking about having a get together in Oct so that maybe a good time to come and the fishing should be better then than in Sept.

I've fished Shelbyville since it was flooded and have always loved the later fall or early winter better than any time for crappie. Until the last few years we've pretty much had the lake to ourselves in the winter. Best fishing of the year in my opinion. So to answer your question, Oct. over Sept.
