This is my first post in a while simply because one I was in Canada all last week and two, its really the first time patterns have changed for me in a couple months. You can still catch fish shallow, and even in some spawning areas but for the most part these are small males. Im finding my bigger fish off of deeper main lake brush piles and stumps in 8-15 ft of water. I even found my first fish on some typical mid summer areas as well. Nothing is stacked up yet as we would catch 4-10 really fast then the switch goes off and you need to move on. This was the case on Sunday as well. Yesterday I had out Mike and Scott and while scott was a cubbie fan which we wont talk about Mike just felt it was neccesary to keep feeding the fish minnows andI warned him all day that it would come back to haunt us and as a result of this we ran out of minnows with 44 keepers in the livewell and sitting on the best pile for us of the day! They were some great clients and we also ran into 3-4 seperate schools of white bass busts in which the last one we were finally prepared for and they stayed up for about 10 minutes...They ran from about 9-14 inches long. Even though we had mostly skinny spawned out female crappie we still had some gooduns. Summer bite will be going real strong here soon!

I'll be down the the 28th and 29th, thanks for the report
Good job Birdie, I figured something was up when the fish wasn't in the spots that I was catching them. Going to have to change things up now.
Lets go soak a line. Pat
Nice group. Looking forward to the summertime pattern down here.
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
