That's the kind of day only Mother Nature can provide for you. Sounds like it was a blast

After clfarms1 keep giving me a hard time about not fishing out of my boat I decided to not walk the banks and put her in the water. Launched out of Lithia around 7am and was heading out in the big waters when I looked up and seen a bald eagle watching me. I shut down the motor and watched it for awhile. I started fishing a couple of spots and landed some then decided to move to another spot on the other side of the lake when I seen a beaver swimming around a area I wanted to fish. It started to swim off so I started fishing and that darn thing started swimming back toward me and slapped it tails on top of the water not once but twice. I though o'well there will be nothing here now then something smacked my jig, it was a nice big 12"er followed by a 10"er, then nothing else. Ended up catching afew more and called it a day and a nice day it was. Sorry no pics.

glad to see you finally got out pat. a good day fishing is not all about the fish.
I saw an eagle in Lythia on Sunday too. Congrats on your excursion.
That makes for a nice morning on the water.
There is an eagle nest with a mother tending her brood on the lake. It is not visible by water now, but it was before the trees leafed out. I had not posted but a few others I talked to also saw it. Great to have that on our lake.
