Birdman no boat saturday. Didnt feel like taking it out. We jus fished old fashioned way frm the bank. Sure was a hot day though. Fished chrt glow all day, bout 5 o clock we caught fish shallow, less than 2ft. Wish I can b back dwn there but gonna pound some clinton slabs tomorrow.
I'd rather use jigs anyday, but some days minnows are a must I don't care who you are...or think you are.
Totally agree. I used to buy them 5-10 dozen @ a time and they had a ball with them. Not bought any for sometime now, they are a pain and jig fishing is almost always productive. Just not worth the hassle these days. I will agree they can put fish in the boat on days where the jig bite is off.Quote:
