    I guess I'm basically a novice. Never used braided line. I just bought a new rod n reel. Guess I'll try something new. Thanks guys!!

    Sensitivity is unreal with it. Plus you lose so many less jigs because you can just rip it from the brush which means many less lost jigs. Cast a country mile.

    Doesn't stretch, can straighten hooks out in stead of breaking you line. The diameter is so much smaller, 15lbs braid = 4 mono. And like birdie says, sensitivity = quicker hook sets.
